Production Site Mock Up: First Version

This is a rough mock up of the "Case Studies" page for my production site. It features web page designs I've undertaken for the Digital Media Arts program. It features sites for Audi, Porsche, Ubisoft and Bonefish Art Gallery.

Production Site Wireframe

A pretty basic wireframe for my production site. Nothing special.

Same character, different clothing and hairstyle.

Same character with a few changes. I tried experimenting with the costume of my character; nothing too crazy. I kinda like the other design better...

More personal cartoon work...

I recently picked up a book titled "Creating Characters With Personality" by Tom Bancroft. It's essentially for anyone who is interested in Animation and are looking to give their drawings a bit of an extra "kick". They offer tips on design elements like costumes/clothing, stance/posing, shapes, personalities etc. They have assignments after each chapter that test what you've learned from that chapter, and I must say, they look quite fun. I've already read through this book three times since buying it on Wednesday, and I'll definitely be looking through it and trying some of the assignments over the holidays (which will be hard because I'll be getting Call of Duty: Black Ops for Christmas :P) so I'll see what I can accomplish. This drawing is just a start for me, there's tons of things I'd like to do with this character drawing.

Android launcher apps version 2.0!

These will most likely be the finished apps for the Android launcher menu. Here they are in the different specified sizes 72x72, 48x48 and 36x36. The fork, knife and plate one is the "Going out for dinner" app and the movie clapper thing is the "Going out for a movie" app.

Android phone apps

These are the the two (more or less) finalized "Dinner" and "Movie" apps for Android.

"Hardline Studios" web intro storyboard

This is the storyboard for the planned Flash intro for "Hardline Studios".

Depth of Field assignment

The object of the assignment was to take 4 photographs of 3 objects. In each shot, one of the objects had to be in focus, while the other two remain out of focus. The fourth and final shot is to be a photograph with all 3 objects in focus. The three objects I used were 3 model cars that I used to collect when I was around 11-12 years old. It's kind of an expensive hobby, so I stopped collecting them around 3 or 4 years ago. The cars are the: Enzo Ferrari (object 1), Ferrari 360 Spyder (object 2) and Dodge Viper (object 3).

Object 2 is in focus

Object 1 is in focus

Object 3 is in focus

All 3 objects are in focus

Something interesting...

While in my Media Pre-production class, I found this cool looking digital art piece for Linkin Park. Using basically negative space and lines, the artist was able to develop a really ass-kicking art piece.

Typography Project #2: Version 2

These are two of the three revisions for the second typography assignment. More to come later...

Another personal character drawing

Some more freelance character work. I've actually been planning on doing this drawing for about a month and a half, only a few days ago did I actually get off my ass and draw it. I might also bring this into Illustrator and Photoshop for digital painting. It's actually a drawing of Candice Kucsulain, the lead vocalist for "Walls of Jericho".

The new face of "Hardline Studios"

This is the first ever logo for "Hardline Studios". This is one of the assets I'll be using in my upcoming storyboard for my flash animation introduction.

Instead of sleeping last night, I chose to make some crazy, wickedly awesome backgrounds in Photoshop.

Digital Paint Character outline

This is my character design brought into Illustrator so it could be traced out. The next stop is to paint it in Photoshop.

Nike Shoe Magazine Advertisement option 2

This is the second option I was contemplating for the Shoe Ad assignment. These are the Nike Airs that I've owned for about 4 years now.

3D Airforce pilot

This is some more 3D work that I've done in 3D Studio MAX. These are renderings of a low-poly airforce pilot. I actually rendered these images when I was in grade 12, this was for my Visual Arts Computer program. I only recently recovered the files, which were buried in my hardrive. I also fooled around with the "bones" feature in 3D Studio MAX, which is why the pilots arm is lifted up like that. Can't wait to start doing 3D in DMA!

Nike Shoe Magazine Advertisement

This is one of the possible ideas I've come up with for the Shoe Ad. This one features a pair of Nike Classics that I bought a few months ago. I'm unsure as to whether or not this will be the final ad, I have a pair of Air Jordan's and a pair of T-Mac 4's that would also look good in this ad, but this is all pending the amount of time I have left. The top image is the finished advertisement and the bottom image is the

photograph of my shoes.

TEL Building Tour Photos

An outside shot of the TEL building. It has some interesting architectural design to it.

Showing how big and open the hallways of the TEL building are. You also get a sense of a bit of the architecture in this picture to. For Example: the computer lab located in the bottom right of the picture, in which the area happens to be a giant circle.

Some of the hallways are designed almost designed like catwalks, but much more visually appealing.

The many stairways inside the TEL building. It almost reminds me of an MC Esher piece.

One of the many refuge areas set up in and around the TEL building. These refuge areas are students can come and relax, eat or study.

Again, more the long, open hallways inside the TEL building for maximum traffic flow for the many busy students. There is also the redundancy of pillars to support the floors and add some interesting design to the building.

The archway that connects the TEL building to the Quinlan building at Seneca@York.

More refuge areas where students can study, relax or eat.
