Website Re-designs

These are the same sites that I re-designed with my professor's suggestions in mind. For the Ubisoft site. The main image has been moved to the left and the "New Releases" and "Coming Soon" section to the right. The text along the bottom has been toned down and the bottom section overall has been organized and balanced better. The rollover state had been modified to make it more interesting and the logo has been scaled down to balance out the "Log In" and "Search" fields.

For the Porsche site, the original image of the Cayenne Turbo has been swaped out inexchange for a larger and higher resolution image to fulfill the "Big Picture concept". The big picture has been blended in with the background by means of the paint brush tool with a soft brush attachment. The drop menu has been removed, the film strip has been down sized and moved towards the corner of the big image and more copy has been added to the bottom section.

Possible sketches for digital painting.

These are a few drawings I've been working on to bring into Photoshop for digital painting. I got atleast 1 or 2 more drawings that are a work in progress that could also make it to digital paint as well, but this is all I got for now.

While working on my music brochure.....

I came up with this pretty cool looking painting, done in Photoshop. It kinda reminds me of water or winter (seeing as how it's almost here). I'll let you guys take a guess at how I made this. (It's honestly nothing too special.)

Alice In Chains music brochure project

This is the first of 3 designs for Alice In Chains new studio album "Black Gives Way to Blue". This is the first album the band has released in almost 15 years and it is the first album to feature new vocalist William Duvall.

These are some of the pictures I took while down at Kensington Market. These particular photos were touched up in Photoshop and turned into a photo album.

Typography assigment: Lyrics to "My Friend of Misery" by Metallica \m/

This is assignment that's from a few weeks back. I never really got around to uploading this files untill now. The idea of the assignment was to bring out the meaning of the lyrics through typogrpahical tools like size, weight, typeface etc. as well as create hierarchy using type.

I was hoping to have something much more epic for my 100th post, maybe if I were a bigger fan of the show, then I guess then it would been considered an epic post, but since I'm not, it's a bit of a let down. The banner sizes are 300x250 // 240 x 400 // 120x600 // 160x600 // 468x60 // 728x90
