Zombie Face

Cool Illustrator tutorial using the "Brush" tool. I like how this tutorial uses a stock photo that the user can draw over instead of having to create the zombie head totally from scratch (not that that's not fun either). If you have a tablet, USE IT. it makes this tutorial a little more manageable. I used just my mouse for this one, didn't turn out that badly for a first run. I'm thinking of painting this face in the near future. Tutorial can be found here: http://www.blog.spoongraphics.co.uk/tutorials/how-to-create-a-gruesome-zombie-illustration

For the remake of this illustration, I decided to draw the zombie face and then outline it using my small and medium point brush pens. The lines look much neater and have more definition than the version I built in Illustrator. Overall, I'm much happier with this version.

Even more drawing practice from the book "Awesome things to draw"

Since I got a ton of free time on my hands now, I'm getting back into drawing things. Here are my latest creations.
This drawing is an Apatosaurus. This takes me back to when I use to watch "The Land Before Time" on VHS when I was like 6 years old.

This is an F1 race car. I've been watching F1 races in TV since I was like 9 years. It was one of things my dad an I use to do every Sunday morning. Even to this day, we both still watch the races.

OH NOEZ! Piranhas!

Chocolate Dipped Strawberry tutorial

Yet another cool tutorial for Adobe Illustrator. Made this in honor of all the good stuff I've been eating, and the subsequent fattening that comes with it, this Thanksgiving :) The tutorial can be found here: http://vectips.com/tutorials/create-a-mouthwatering-chocolate-covered-strawberry/
