GRA462 Website Mockups: Taken 2

So these are Web mockups I've designed for the movie Taken 2. I'm a fan of Liam Neeson and I enjoyed the first Taken movie.

Believe it or not, these mockups are going into InDesign and an interactive experience will be built using Indesign. Way cool! Had no idea that was even possible. Was certain this was going to be Flash-based or using HTML/CSS. Definitely looking forward to building this project and discovering the interactive side of InDesign. Definitely going to be a bit more ambitious with this project as I have a much better understanding of InDesign as oppose to Flash or Dreamweaver.

GRA320: Photoshop Composite

Working with the "Refine Edge" tool in Photoshop. Once you get the hang of it, it becomes a rather powerful tool to use. Also working with photo filters to give it a warmer feeling.

Ada Wong digital paint

So this is the first time I've ever done some serious digital painting. I decided to choose Ada Wong from the "Resident Evil" franchise just simply because I'm a fan of "Resident Evil". As always, I start out with a drawing of Ada Wong, re-touch the image in Photoshop, and then I begin to paint. Overall, I feel it's not a bad first attempt, I would've like the face to have turned out a little bit better for a future attempt as it's one of the most crucial aspects for creating attractive female characters. Other than that, I'm satisfied with the outcome.

Adobe Photoshop Tutorial: Futuristic Portrait

This was a really intense Photoshop tutorial. The results are less than spectacular due to the fact that this is the first time I'v ever done something so intense in Photoshop. I'm sure if I do this tutorial a second or third time, I might get the portrait to look better. Link to tutorial: Futuristic Portrait

LIGHT IT ON FIRE!!!!

This time I used the "screen layer", "difference clouds", "lighting effects", "Hue/Saturation", "radial blur", "plastic wrap" and "outer glow" to set a Gibson flying V guitar on fire.

Audi R8 Web Design

This project was actually completed about 1 month ago, but I never got around to posting it on my blog. Better late than never, I suppose...

New Photoshop techniques

.
.

Learning some new Photoshop skills. Experimenting with filters, gradients, screening and learning to make lightning using levels and difference clouds. Pretty cool stuff, actually.
