VANS

This is a 14 week long project that was assigned to us in DMA423: Interactive Development. The company my team chose for this project is "VANS". The first 4 weeks of the project involve re-branding the "VANS" logo. The remaining 10 weeks are dedicated to other projects such as brochures, newspaper ads, catalogues and posters.

WEEK 2: Initial logo sketch

WEEK 3: Final logo design
WEEK 3:Today for our "VANS" print project, I finalized the new logo for "VANS" as well as developed some colour palettes for the new logo. I also looked over and provided input for our group's proposal. 
Week 5: Possible idea for the VANS newspaper advertisement



For the newspaper ad, I chose to advertise the "Vans Warped tour" which starts on June 24 and ends on August 14. Since the Warped tour was happening around the same time as this project, I felt that it would be an appropriate choice for an advertisement.

Week 6: Worked on a rough copy of the Vans magazine AD

Week 7: Finalized the Vans magazine AD and began working on content for the Vans catalogue.

Week 8: Finished skateboard deck designs page for the VANS catalogue and began work on another image to go into the catalogue. Update our group's "manymoon" account by posting the Business Card design and the Magazine AD.

Week 9: Final skate deck designs for catalogue completed. Here's a preview of some of the decks I feel are the strongest designs.
Week 10:

I sketched out a rough concept for the bus poster design and I assigned some names to the skate decks in out catalog.
